Bacterial Vaginosis
Bacterial Vaginosis is the most common vaginal infection, worldwide and in addition to vaginal symptoms is responsible for multiple complication. Although antibiotic therapy is effective short term in relieving symptoms, BV is associated with high post treatment recurrence rates, approximately 30% withinin 3 months. This is responsible for a source of enormous frustration for the patient and the prescriber.
